Haddington back on top in Div 2
Haddington eased back to the top of the table when they recorded a 4-1 win away to Musselburgh Old on Sunday. But despite a fast start the visitors had to battle to the end for the league points, with the final two ties both going to the last hole.
The result makes Haddington title favourites, and they will look to consolidate their position when they visit Thorntree on 4th January, the same day nearest challengers Longniddry and Tantallon lock horns in a scrap for the second promotion spot.
And with something sure to give in that tussle, Craigielaw can move up with a home win against Castle Park whilst Gifford can join the race if they beat Kilspindie.
However that's all to come after the Christmas break - meantime Season's Greetings to all !
